Doecision is the business name under which Heike van Doesburg operates. Heike is born in the Netherlands in 1972. He followed his pre-university education in Bussum at the 'Goois Lyceum'. Thereafter he choose to study Mechanical Engineering at the renowned Technical University of Delft where he graduated in 1997. His final thesis comprised developing a maintenance concept for backhoe dredgers for Skanska Dredging in Sweden.

He was employed at Skanska and soon became Plant Manager, responsible for the company's total fleet of equipment. In this role he amongst others got approved an investment pf 13MSEK for the rebuilding of the spud system for the companies heaviest unit, the 'Rocky'. The investment proposal consisted of a thorough analysis of the dredgers efficiency, based on data output from the performance report Heike had developed earlier at Skanska.

After 5 years Heike decided to stay longer in Sweden and broaden his perspective. During 7 years Heike worked in the manufacturing industry in roles as Production Manager and Unit Manager. He was amongst others in lead
