'Doecision' is the business name under which Heike van Doesburg operates. Heike is born in the Netherlands and graduated with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the renowned Technical University of Delft. His final thesis comprised developing a maintenance concept for backhoe dredgers for Skanska Dredging in Sweden.
He was employed at Skanska and soon became Plant Manager, responsible for the company's total fleet of equipment. In this role he amongst others got approved an investment for rebuilding the spud system of the companies largest unit, the 'Rocky'. The investment proposal was the result of a thorough analysis of the dredger's efficiency, based on data output from a performance reporting system he developed earlier.

After five years Heike decided to broaden his perspective. For seven years he worked in the manufacturing industry in positions as Production Manager and Unit Manager. He, among others, oversaw the production operations at a heavy steel construction factory. Also he managed the supply chain for spare parts for industrial overhead doors across the Nordic region by leading a regional warehouse within the Cardo group, now part of Assa Abloy."
In 2009 Doecision was founded as a 'Aktiebolag'. Initially the company was active in exporting used machinery from Sweden to worldwide destinations. Soon customers inquired for young used machinery from other European countries. The business grew and was expanded with a sales agency of Verachtert buckets and worktools. The company was also one of the first in Sweden to arrange on-line internet machinery auctions and developed an iOS app for inspections of wheelloaders.
After a couple of years back in the Netherlands, where he completed several assignments in management and sales, Heike returned to Sweden. He worked with Supply Chain for OSO Hotwater, a Norwegian producer of water tanks for marine- and industrial applications. During this period Heike was part of a D365 F&O implementation and gained good knowledge of the system. He still applies, and further develops, his skills and carries out consultantcy- and interim assignments in this field.
In 2024 Heike made a return to the marine contracting business and worked for a local Swedish company as a Project Manager. He lead several geodrilling projects with jack-ups and started up an environmental dredging project. Heike was also involved in the companies fleet of equipment. Working in a marine environment again gave taste for more and now Heike is offering his services not only to manufacturing companies, but also to dredging companies.
